Ver. 11.4.0.5 Release Notes

We're excited to announce a hotfix for DeskAlerts version 11.4, bringing you critical defect fixes. This update focuses on resolution of critical issues.

Resolved Issues​

  • Resolved the issue of error 1603 in MSI during silent deployment by SCCM by allowing the client installation to proceed even if an error occurs during the profile removal procedure. Now the deployment of DeskAlerts client apps via SCCM goes smoothly.
  • Addressed the issue of survey data disappearance and content delivery failure to client apps sixty days after initial login by removing the automatic instance deletion setting and adding an instance restoration parameter EnableRestoreInstances (default = true) in the appsettings.json file. As a result, deleted client app instances will be restored upon first client connection to the DeskAlerts server, ensuring content delivery and retrieval of past survey results. For faster data restoration, it is recommended to restart the Connection Service on the server side.
